Business X-Ray for a mid-sized distribution company
Sales grew, but structure and processes didn't keep up. The owner made every decision, margins weren't improving, and nobody was clear on what was most urgent to address.
A full Business X-Ray across the six dimensions of the DUAL Model: environment, strategy, profitability, structure, management, and operations. We identified the most relevant risks and opportunities.
Interviews with leadership and key staff, a review of core financials, and a working session. Executive report with prioritized findings, a risk-and-opportunity map, and recommended next steps.
The company came to DUAL at a moment of uncertainty: sales were stable, but something didn't add up. The owner had spent years making decisions alone, with partial information and no time to step back and analyze the business as a whole.
Over three weeks, we interviewed leadership and key operational staff, reviewed the available financial information, and facilitated a working session with the management team. What we found was not a crisis but a set of accumulated tensions: pressured margins with no identified cause, excessive dependence on the owner, informal processes that ran on experience but had never been documented, and commercial decisions made without data.
The final report organized those findings into a clear map: what was urgent, what was important but not urgent, and what could wait. The client came out of the X-Ray with an honest, ordered reading of the company and clarity about the next steps to take.
That was the start of a Business Development process that is still under way.
